CSP DAO Project Review: Tatsumeeko

Tatsumeeko is an in-development Play and Earn idle MMORPG-lite for Discord, Web, iOS and Android. Players can transport themselves into a modern-fantasy world where they battle, explore, build communities and meet new friends and foes alike as they save the world of Ielia from unknown forces.

Tatsumeeko’s mission is to grow communities and strengthen worldly relationships. The platform offers a great user experience, awesome gameplay, compelling stories and strong community support in order to achieve its set goals. Communities and members are immersed into a modern fantasy setting filled with colourful characters, awesome locations, endless activities and the tales of many adventures.

Tatsu Works is a team of 50+ seasoned developers and creatives from across multiple different established entertainment companies like Square Enix, Gumi, Koei Tecmo, Toei Animation and more, working together to create a multiplayer online role-playing game with an emphasis on social engagement. Collectively they have shipped titles from many popular series like Final Fantasy, WAKFU, Sword of the Stars and worked on anime such as Isekai Quartet and Pretty Cure.

Tatsumeeko is the first fantasy web3 MMORPG-Lite with cross-platform play across Discord, Web, IOS and Android in development since 2019 for Multichain networks. Built on top of Tatsu.GG, Tatsumeeko has immediate exposure to 62M users and 1.44M discord communities and also a unique market positioning where the game platform contributes to Discord community’s user growth, retention and the community’s brand reach. The project will appeal to both web2 and web3 players and will facilitate the mass adoption of web3 technologies.

In the future, Tatsumeeko plans to expand to other chat applications and community platforms that support integrated applications.

TOKENOMICS

Tatsumeeko utilizes a two token system — $MKLN and $IGS, with other resources that are tradable on in-game markets.

$MKLN — Meekolony Governance Token, is a governance token used within the Tatsumeeko ecosystem. Holders can stake the token, and in turn receive the right to participate in key governance votes. Through the MeekoDAO, $MKLN holders will be able to vote for new features, improvements and future content and events, as well as proposals for the release of new items. $MKLN has a total supply of 1,000,000,000.

Escrow Treasury will receive Trading fees, NFT royalties, and On-Chain Player subscriptions. MKLN TreasuryTatsu Treasury will receive equal amounts from the Escrow Treasury.

$IGS — Ielian Global Standard, is the main in-game utility token used in the ecosystem. Being the Player Action Enhancement Currency within Tatsumeeko, Players can utilize the token to roll for Gachapon banners to obtain powerful heroes and gears, increase the difficulty, purchase upgrades, and many more. $IGS is currently Uncapped.
